The Islamic Center in Brazil is a social and religious organization that works since the year of 1989. Between its main focus of work there are the orientation of the Islamic community, the link with Islamic, religious and social organizations, cultural activities, and mainly, the propagation of Islam in the society.

Headed by His Eminence Sheikh Taleb Hussein Al-Khazraji, that also is the religious authority responsible by the Islamic Center in Brazil, which got his academic degree in the center of religious studies of Najaf Ashraf, Iraq, the Islamic Center in Brazil also concentrate a big part of its efforts in the publication of books presenting Islam and related issues, books that are donated to libraries, cultural centers, religious, social and political leaders, and to all that seeks for Islamic information.

The Islamic Center in Brazil carries out his work through diverse departments,  such as the cultural, of religious aid, females, social aid, of studies, social and religious researches, of public relations and others. We detach also the General Commission of Publications, which is responsible by the publications and press releases of the Islamic Center in Brazil, carrying out the work of publication and publishing, and in some cases, translation and revision.
